Worshipping and Rejoicing in The Book of Revelation

The Throne and the Worship of the Creator:

“And the four living creatures, each one of them having six wings, are full of eyes around and within; and day and night they do not cease to say, ‘Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God, the Almighty, who was and who is and who is to come.’  And when the livingworship creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, to Him who lives forever and ever, the twenty-four elders will fall down before Him who sits on the throne, and will worship Him who lives forever and ever, and will cast their crowns before the throne, saying, ‘Worthy are You, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and because of Your will they existed, and were created.’ ” – Revelation 4:8-11

The Scroll with the Seven Seals and the Worship of the Lamb:

“And He came and took the book out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne.  When He had taken the book, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each one holding a harp and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.  And they sang a new song, saying, ‘Worthy are You to take the book and to break its seals; for You were slain, and purchased for God with Your blood men from every tribe and tongue and people and nation.  You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God; and they will reign upon the earth.’ ” – Revelation 5:7-10

Angels, the elders and ‘every created thing’ Exalt the Lamb:

“Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne and the living creatures and the elders; and the number of them was myriads of myriads, and thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice, ‘Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing.’  And every created thing which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all things in them, I heard saying, ‘To Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, be blessing and honor and glory and dominion forever and ever.’  And the four living creatures kept saying, ‘Amen.’  And the elders fell down and worshipped.” – Revelation 5:11-14

War, then Rejoicing, in Heaven when Satan is cast down:

“Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: ‘Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of His Christ.  For the accuser of our brothers, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down.  They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.  Therefore rejoice, you heavens and you who dwell in them!  But woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has gone down to you!  He is filled with fury, because he knows that his time is short.’ ” – Revelation 12:10-12

“Worship God” – Vision of the Angel with the Gospel:

“And I saw another angel flying in midheaven, having an eternal gospel to preach to those who live on the earth, and to every nation and tribe and tongue and people; and he said with a loud voice, ‘Fear God, and give Him glory, because the hour of His judgment has come; worship Him who made the heaven and the earth and sea and springs of waters.’ ” – Revelation 14:6-7

The Song of Moses and the Lamb’ Worship song:

“And I saw something like a sea of glass mixed with fire, and those who had been victorious over the beast and his image and the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, holding harps of God.  And they sang the song of Moses, the bond-servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, ‘Great and marvellous are Your works, O Lord God, the Almighty; Righteous and true are Your ways, King of the nations!  Who will not fear, O Lord, and glorify Your name?  For You alone are holy; For all the nations will come and worship before you, For Your righteous acts have been revealed.’ ” – Revelation 15:2-4

The Rejoicing in Heaven following the Fall of the Whore of Babylon:

“After this I heard what sounded like the roar of a great multitude in heaven shouting: ‘Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God, for true and just are His judgments.  He has condemned the great prostitute who corrupted the earth by her adulteries.  He has avenged on her the blood of His servants.’  And again they shouted: ‘Hallelujah!  The smoke from her goes up for ever and ever.’ ” – Revelation 19:1-3

A Multitude from the Tribulation

“After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no-one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb.  They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands.  And they cry out with a loud voice, saying, ‘Salvation to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.’  And all the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures; and they fell on their faces before the throne and worshipped God saying, ‘Amen, blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honour and power and might, be to our God forever and ever.  Amen.’ ” – Revelation 7:9-12

“Then one of the elders asked me, ‘These in white robes – who are they, and where did they come from?’  I answered, ‘Sir, you know.’  And he said, ‘These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.’  ‘For this reason, they are before the throne of God and serve Him day and night in His temple and He who sits on the throne will spread His tent over them.  They will hunger no longer, nor thirst anymore; nor will the sun beat down on them, nor any heat; For the Lamb will be their shepherd; He will lead them to springs of living water.  And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’ ” – Revelation 7:13-17

“And the twenty-four elders, who were seated on their thrones before God, fell on their faces and worshipped God, saying:  ‘We give thanks to you Lord God Almighty, who is and who was, because you have taken your great power and have begun to reign.  The nations were angry; and your wrath has come.  The time has come for judging the dead, and for rewarding your servants the prophets and your saints and those who reverence your name, both small and great – and for destroying those who destroy the earth.’ ” – Revelation 11:16-18

Let us rejoice and be glad and give Him glory!  For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and His bride has made herself ready.  Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear.’ (Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of the saints.)” – Revelation 19:5-8
