The Ten Commandments:

“Then God spoke all these words, saying, ‘I am the Lord your God.’ ” – Exodus 20:1-2

  1. ‘You shall have no other gods before Me.’ – Exodus 20:3
  2. ‘You shall not make for yourself an idol, or any likeness of what is in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water under the earth.  You shall not worship them or serve them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God.’ – Exodus 20:4-5
  3. ‘You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not leave him unpunished who takes His name in vain.’ – Exodus 20:7
  4. ‘Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.’ – Exodus 20:8
  5. ‘Honor your father and your mother.’ – Exodus 20:12
  6. ‘You shall not murder.’ – Exodus 20:13
  7. ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ – Exodus 20:14
  8. ‘You shall not steal.’ – Exodus 20:15
  9. ‘You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.’ – Exodus 20:16
  10. ‘You shall not covet.’ – Exodus 20:17

Further on the Sixth Commandment: “Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer; and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.” – 1 John 3:15

Further on the Seventh Commandment: “You have heard that it was said ‘You shall not commit adultery’; but I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” – Matthew 5:27

“May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.” – 2 Corinthians 13:14
