These articles are the writer’s personal commentaries on the Book of Revelation’s Scripture passages.  Also included are many of the Old and New Testament prophecies of the End Times for deeper insight and understanding.

Read the Book of Revelation as all of the actual scripture itself is rearranged into chronological order.  Gain amazing clarity and understanding of the End Times.  All verses in Chapters 6-20 are used.

The reorganization begins with the revelation of Jesus Christ: His human birth, His bodily ascension and His future rule over all the nations.  Follow as the passage verses write about the two witnesses sent to prophecy for 1,260 days.  Read about the first seals, the first trumpets and the war in heaven all of which occur in the first half of the Tribulation.

The mid-point of the Tribulation includes the Dragon; the Beast, who is revealed at the 5th trumpet, the killing of the two witnesses by the Beast and the saints under the altar.

The second half of the Tribulation opens with the two hundred million horsemen at the 6th trumpet.  Read about God’s three angels bringing their three messages.  After that, the reign of terror of the Unholy Trinity – the Dragon, the Beast and the False Prophet.  God’s wrath ensues as the bowl judgments are poured out.  There’s the fall of Babylon and ‘The Great Whore’.  There’s the appearing of the mighty angel, the seven thunders and the little scroll.

The final seal, the last trumpet, the golden censer and the 7th bowl bring the fire, the thunderstorm with hail and lightning and the severe earthquake – the likes of which have never occurred since man has been on earth.  Babylon receives God’s second cup of wrath.

It truly does begin to make sense when the scripture text is in sequential order.

Then the glorious second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ and His rapture.  There’s Armageddon and the doom of the Beast, the False Prophet and Satan.

Christ stands once again on Mount Zion, followed by the wedding feast of the Lamb and the Bride of Christ and then there’s the Millennium.

After the Millennium Satan is freed for a time but ultimately is thrown into the lake of fire where previously the Beast and the False Prophet had been thrown alive, at Armageddon.  They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Completing it, the future great white throne judgment, the New Heaven and New Earth.

It’s all accomplished using Bible verse alone.  And no scripture was added nor taken away.  God’s word unveiled, to show ‘the things which must soon take place’.

Revelation 12:1-5

Revelation 12:1-5

Revelation 12:1-5 – is the Book of Revelation’s glorious affirmation of the Lord Christ Jesus – past, present and future.  The Woman is Israel and the Dragon, the devil.

Jesus Christ was born to a virgin from the Tribe of Judah, of Israel.  God became a man.  The dragon – the devil – a fallen angel – attempted to destroy Christ Jesus right from His birth, unsuccessfully.  The Lord Christ Jesus conquered death on the Cross and ascended into heaven where He sits at the right hand of God the Father.  He will rule the nations with an iron sceptre.

2 Witnesses – Revelation 11

The First Half of the Tribulation

(3 1/2 years = 42 months = 1,260 days = time, times and half a time)

Jewish worship and sacrifices begin again at rebuilt temple – 2 witnesses – first Seals – first Trumpets – Satan hurled down from heaven

“He will confirm a covenant with many [The Jews] for one ‘seven’, [a seven year span] but in the middle of that ‘seven’ he will put an end to sacrifice and offering.  And one who causes desolation will place abominations on a wing of the temple until the end that is decreed is poured out on him.” – Daniel 9:27

Revelation Chapter 11 prophesies about the 2 witnesses that will be sent by God

Revelation 11:2 – “ ‘Get up and measure the temple of God and the altar, and those who worship in it.’ ”

The command to ‘measure the temple of God and the altar’ indicates that a new temple will indeed be built, contrary to some sites stating that only an altar would be required for Jewish worship.

‘Those who worship in it’ Scripture confirms that the 2 Witnesses are in the first half of the Tribulation.  There will not be any worship, except to the Beast, occurring in the second half of the Tribulation. (more…)

Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse

four horsemenThe Lamb breaks the first four judgment seals on the scroll:

The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse

1st Seal – ‘The False Christ’:

Revelation 6:1-2 – “Then I saw when the Lamb broke one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures saying as with a voice of thunder, ‘Come’.  I looked, and behold, a white horse, and he (the ANTICHRIST) who sat on it had a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering and to conquer.”

Matthew 24:4-5 – “And Jesus answered and said to them, ‘See to it that no one misleads you.  For many will come in My name, saying, “I am the Christ,” and will mislead many.’ ”

Also notice that the false Christ holds a bow – the Lord Christ returns with a sharp sword.  The Antichrist has one crown – and scripture describing Christ Jesus that –  “on His head are many crowns”.

Four Trumpets and the 144,000

I’ve moved a few verses of scripture around and I’d like to show how the first four trumpets, the four angels standing at the four corners of the earth and the 144,000 sealed, are associated. You’ll notice a coherent structure as you read the Scripture below.

A bit of explanation first: The 7 angels have been given their seven trumpets to sound.  The blasting of their trumpets will trigger the 4 angels, standing at the four corners of the earth, to bring God’s wrath on the earth, sea and trees.  (After reading, please compare the earth, sea, tree references with both the 4 angels and the 4 trumpet judgments.  They are mentioned in both readings.)

However, before the trumpets sound, the angel coming up from the east commands the four angels to wait.  (Consequently, the trumpets have to wait.)  The 144,000 servants of God have to receive a seal on their foreheads first, by these angels from the east.

Then the first 4 trumpets sound – signalling the four angels into action.  (more…)

Michael defeats the Dragon

Michael defeats the Dragon

’Michael defeats the Dragon’ / The Angel, Michael’ / ’War in Heaven’:

Revelation 12:7 – “And there was war in heaven.  Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back.”

The following is some Old Testament prophecy about this war.  In Daniel 12:1 it is written: “At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise.”  ‘Arise’ meaning to go into action.

Revelation 11

‘The Witnesses killed and raised’

Revelation 11:7 – “When they have finished their testimony [that is, 3 1/2 years later], the beast that comes up out of the abyss [written in Revelation 9:11 – at the 5th trumpet] will make war with them, and overcome them and kill them.”

Revelation 11:10 – “And those who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them and celebrate; and they will send gifts to one another (this is a custom in certain cultures today), because these two prophets tormented those who dwell on the earth.”

Revelation 11:8-9 – ” And their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city (Jerusalem) which mystically is called Sodom and Egypt (because of their similar sins), where also their Lord was crucified (Jerusalem).  Those from the peoples and tribes and tongues and nations will look at their dead bodies for 3 1/2 days, and will not permit their dead bodies to be laid in a tomb.”

‘The great city’ is definitely Jerusalem.  ‘Mystically called Sodom and Egypt’ is because Israel’s idolatries, immoralities and sins were the same as these other wicked peoples.

Fifth Seal

The Fifth Seal Prophecy:

Revelation 6:9-11 – “When the Lamb broke the fifth seal, I saw underneath the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God, and because of the testimony which they had maintained; and they cried out with a loud voice, saying, ‘How long, O Lord, holy and true, will You refrain from judging and avenging our blood on those who dwell on the earth?’  And there was given to each of them a white robe; and they were told that they should rest for a little while longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their brethren who were to be killed even as they had been, would be completed also.”

Fifth Seal

The fifth seal judgment may be only three verses, however it is rich in revelation.

It is revealing what is occurring in heaven – always important.  You might also notice how it is going to build.  In the ‘War in Heaven’ we are told about the angelic war.  Here we are seeing saints under the altar, which is before the Lord.  At the 7th Trumpet God’s temple in heaven is opened.

It is revealing some Christians have already died for their faith – but there are still others to come.  “Who were to be killed” – is future tense.  Two groups are defined here.

It is also revealing this is the conclusion of the mid-point of the Tribulation – more on that later. (more…)
